People always say if it ain’t broke don’t fix it. But no one
tells you that doing a little maintenance on some of your more expensive – and
important – utilities can save you thousands of dollars. Before I sound like a
car insurance commercial let me set the scene for you. I purchased my first
home at 27. I was completely scrapped for cash, so I bought a quaint fixer
upper. About a year in and 10 or so renovation projects later – not to mention
right in the dead of summer, my HVAC unit completely gave up. I was pulling up
old carpet, drenched in sweat and to be honest, I didn’t have the money needed
to put into a new unit. So I ended up spending some money towards purchasing
new fans. About 6 months later, I had saved up enough to purchase a new HVAC
unit, that’s when I was told I should consider having yearly maintenance by an
expert in Air Conditioning Service in Florence
SC. Ever since then, I’ve had someone come check out my unit twice a year.
Knowing that if they find something wrong they’ll be able to fix it before it’s
completely gone and I have to shell out even more cash!

Warm Weather? Finally!
It’s starting to heat back up for
the summer here in Round Rock, TX! It’s pretty typical this time of year for my
friends to call me to swing by and sit in my air conditioned house. How they
can go without air conditioning in Round Rock beat me! I think a few of them will be looking
to get a unit installed this summer, and have been weighing their options. For
me, it’s a pretty standard thing to have down here, as the summers are
unbearable for me without air conditioning! I don’t mind the company; it’s a
nice excuse to get together with friends. Maybe once they get their units
installed, I can return the favor!

Good Cool Times Ahead!
OK, Pittsburgh, who’s ready to start thinking about summer? With the cold we’ve been hit with, I sure am day dreaming about warmer weather! Remember the days that we’d want to put on our Air Conditioning in Pittsburgh? Seems a little crazy at this time of year, but believe it or not in just a few months we’ll be turning on our air conditioning again and trying to keep indoors to stay cool! When that time comes, we can just look back at this winter, and be thankful for summer and air conditioning.
Are Maintenance Plans Worth it?
My Air Conditioning unit recently gave up. Yup, it flat lined completely to the point of no return. Here in Florida we use our AC pretty regularly, and can often use it year around (some of the perks of our state). The Air Conditioning expert in Brandon FL came out to assess the problem and although he wanted to provide us with solutions – there really was only one, buying a new unit. Once installed, our expert let us know we could get a maintenance plan where they would come out twice a year to inspect our unit and make sure its running well. They even let us know they could provide some cleaning to keep the unit running as efficiently as possible. I need to decide in the next few days if I’d like to take them up on this plan, but wanted to get any comments on maintenance plans you may have. I’m leaning towards this being a good investment considering the large bill I was footed with to replace the unit, but I just wanted to make sure!
Holiday Disaster!
I cook a big meal for my family every year for the holidays and yesterday I discovered that the piping under my sink, where I wash the dishes, were completely shot! I didn’t know what to do! There are people coming to my home both this and next month and I am known for my cooking. Thankfully, my sister found a Worcester MA plumbing expert with same-day estimates and the ability to give me an estimate on the time it would take to do the work, I’m in limbo for now but I’ll be in heaven later.

Sweltering
The
weather has been getting nicer out and ,after
remembering last year’s heat wave, I was so thankful that my air
conditioning was working. Of course, as soon as I thought of it breaking, I
found myself searching for air
conditioning in Lusby MD. I
hadn’t realized how easy it could have been keeping up with my air conditioning
system maintenance. Thankfully, I was able to find a repair company that wasn’t
only nice and helpful; they explained things to me as they went along and were
as transparent as they could possibly be. Next year, I won’t have this problem
and I won’t have to worry.
