Houston Blues!

I don’t know why there wasn’t air conditioning in my apartment when I first moved to Texas, but as I discovered this past summer, there should’ve been. I got down to the Houston area in July and figured, well, the summer is almost over, I can tough it out. No way, no one told me that Houston’s summer seems to last forever as their temperature is automatically higher than where I’m from! (New York) I frantically looked up air conditioning in Houston TX. I was able to find quick and professional installation within the same week! 

Holiday Disaster!

I cook a big meal for my family every year for the holidays and yesterday I discovered that the piping under my sink, where I wash the dishes, were completely shot! I didn’t know what to do! There are people coming to my home both this and next month and I am known for my cooking. Thankfully, my sister found a Worcester MA plumbing expert, with same-day estimates and the ability to give me an estimate on the time it would take to do the work, I’m in limbo for now but I’ll be in heaven later.

Freezing, Come Help!

My home is like an icebox. No, I do not want it that way. It just so happens that my furnace has broken in the middle of the night which caused me to wake up in the freezing cold chill that has been coming through the thin windows in my home. I couldn’t even get out of bed it was so cold! I grabbed my computer, immediately, and looked up furnace repair in Needham MA I was able to make an appointment and have a specialist come out to my home and give me an estimate. I’ll be wearing gloves, a hat and a scarf inside when he comes to repair the furnace!

Heat Me Up!

Normally, when people think of Atlanta they think it is warm and sunny and generally has great weather. Well, sometimes that is the case. I can look around and really appreciate the weather here.
