• Get your system checked. It’s been a while since you turned on your AC, and you’re going to want to make sure everything is still working properly. A certified technician can assess the key components of your HVAC unit, and will be able to make any necessary adjustments for you.

• Change the blower filter. Your blower filter needs to be replaced with a new filter at least twice a year - once before the heating season and again before the cooling season. You should also clean your filter regularly throughout the year. 

• Run a sound check.  If your HVAC unit makes unusual noises when powered on, that usually indicates an internal problem. If this is the case, it is always a good idea to seek help from a professional, who will be able to identify the issue’s source and find a solution.
