Condensation

A high-efficiency furnace will create condensation as it operates. The condensation is typically routed to a floor drain. If your furnace is leaking, you may have breaks or clogs in your tubing, or a clogged floor drain. A standard-efficiency furnace should not produce condensation. If it does, the unit may be incorrectly sized.  

Clogged Drain System

Many furnaces and air conditioners share an internal drain system. If your air conditioner is still running, it's possible that water is being routed to the furnace. Another possibility is that the drain line is clogged, which will cause your furnace to leak water.
